TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS.- En lo que va de 2023, son cuatro las educadoras hondureñas que han sido víctimas de violentos asesinatos en diferentes regiones del país generando consternación en sus familiares, alumnos y colegas.
Estos crímenes han dejado un impacto en la comunidad educativa y en la sociedad en general, que ha sido testigo de la pérdida de figuras comprometidas con la formación.
Este preocupante enfoque de la violencia tomó nuevamente protagonismo con el asesinato de la maestra de Ciencias Sociales, Dania Marisela Pavón Canales, quien fue asesinada el 22 de mayo por sujetos a bordo de una motocicleta que la interceptaron frente a una posta policial en Choluteca. Le dispararon en reiteradas ocasiones y huyeron de la escena.
